Who Is This Guy Anyway?

Hoooly shit, this website has come a long way. Let me start at the beginning.

My name is Chris, and I make websites for a living. Most of them are more impressive than this one. Around the turn of the century, I started really noticing that a lot of people are just grossly inconsiderate, selfish human beings who only seem to care about themselves. Sure, they may care about lots of people but the things they were doing told a different story. So I decided to create this website in 2006 as a way for me to vent about it.

Initially, I was going for shock value. I swore a lot, I took controversial opinions, and I drew intentionally terrible pictures in MSPaint to go with the articles I wrote. Over time, I realized that that voice I was projecting simply wasn't me. I felt passionate about the topics, but the way I was presenting them didn't adequately communicate who I was or why I felt the way I do. And so, if you start at the beginning and read forward, you will get to see the writing on this site evolve.

Today, I am not the young man pretending to be an angry rebel any more. I am simply someone who is exhausted by the things I see on a daily basis, and who wants them to stop. My hope is that people will read the things on this website, recognize some of them in their own behaviour, and change their habits.
