 HP Printers
Alright, I got an HP printer for Christmas, but whenever I try to use it, it says it has to run an ink system test. This, I have no problem with. Rather, it's the fact that I have to watch it incessantly flash "Ink System Failure, error 0x18a0003" whenever I try to start up the system so that I can actually use the printer. I'll start the whole test over, but it always starts with "Load Plain White Paper Into the Main Tray", the printer itself came with no instructions or indications of which of the two trays was the main one, and which was the tray for the printout. Not only this, but every time I try to use the printer, It will say "One Time ink system initialization beginning, do not turn power off or remove any devices to which this printer is attached". As soon as it says this, my monitor says that the ink system failed, so I'll check the ink levels, and they're fine! At first, I did not know that this was the case, so I got some new cartridges for the ink system, which then said "You must use the introductory cartridges that were shipped with your printer." So now, I've got a broken printer which I want to take an axe to, some fresh, unused cartridges that'll start to dry up soon, and a printer that freezes up every time I try to run the damn ink test! I've even tried looking up the error, but nothing comes up, and the only booklet I found in my box was a bunch of advertisements in a foreign language. Fuck HP Printers

 Re: HP Printers
Besides the foot pads being uneven, and thus excessive shaking everytime its printing, mines ok. I used to have a cheapo one though and it would drive me insane. Would grab paper and then jammed every 5 or 6 pages.

 Re: HP Printers
Mine consistently prints off-center. I have an HP Officejet 7310, I think. Besides this, since the fax machine portion of it was set up, the setting is always on 'print to series fax', which means it will only print after this is manually changed. Though this seems like laziness, it is more an annoyance of habit. Ordinarily, I press the print button and am done with it. Now, whenever I forget to change the setting, it takes my horrendously slow computer an excess two minutes total to process the request of closing the fax page and reopening the 'print settings' page. And, because of my age, I do not live alone, and I fear unnecessary punishment for permanently changing the print settings, despite the fax machine so far having been used a grand total of ONCE, and that only being a test to see that it works. Ohsigh- I live with idiots. HURRAY.

 Re: HP Printers
You need to check out for cartridge, settings, ink arrangement or really something wrong with the printer. So check that out and get the perfect solution to it according to the problem medium.
