 Your Newest Toy We've all got one. That one gadget/toy we've spent hours just messing around with because it's so damn cool to have.

Mine is currently a Ubuntu Linux server on a old computer that I've been messing with. I've got a VNC on it, Apache, and Teamspeak.

Re: Your Newest Toy I'm currently messing around with a Halo 3 Edition Zune  . Pretty sweet, but could use some tweaks especially in the software (stripped and specialized version of WMP 11).

Still trying to iron out the bumps since it's Vista, on an HP laptop, so I've got to get this baby ready.
It's named Savato. <3.
That said, already downloaded Spybot Search and Destroy, Firefox, and Trillian.
Savato needs more software modifcations though, like getting rid of the HP junk I've not yet touched. *strokes laptop*

Re: Your Newest Toy My newest toy is actually the one I took on a trip to Toronto recently. It's a military-issue green laser, suitable for intimidating possible threats, pointing at targets, and using to distract annoying cats.

My toy is my laptop I got in October. Ya, it's almost a year now and I still love it. The only thing besides that is my scanner. Picks up everything from Chyenne cops to Planes landing at Denver International. It rocks.

Re: Your Newest Toy Well, I recently found old Marathon (Bungie Classic) game disc at a garage sale, so I bought it and it turns out that it runs perfectly on my Windows XP. I don't think I've had so much fun with a FPS on my computer in years. I know. I have strange FPS tastes but its fun. >.< That is my newest toy... although it itself may not be new.

Re: Your Newest Toy Just picked myself up a Garmin Heart Rate monitor. Does the GPS thing too. It does everything but the dishes for me. Can't until track tommarow to play with it some more!
